A lake, playground and golf course — a solid local stop to pair with Alhambra's Main Street dining.

One of my favorite parks in the SGV area. It’s spacious, clean, and very well maintained. The late afternoon lighting is beautiful, the air feels fresh, and the park has a peaceful, open feel that makes it really enjoyable to spend time here. It’s also a great place for outdoor activities, walking, jogging, running, basketball, baseball, and more. Whether you want to exercise or just relax and enjoy the scenery, this park is a great spot.

Great walking path around the park, quite popular. Be sure to stop by the ponds to see some unusual migrating birds.

Came to this park for peace and quiet but got the exact opposite of that. Whether it’s the loud school next door, the loud trimmers and blowers, or all the people at this park on a week day. The golf course takes up so much of the land that could’ve been used. It even blocks off the other side of the lake smh.

I finally visited Almansor Park even though it’s so close to my house, and it turned out to be a really nice spot. It’s a big park with plenty of space to walk in loops — perfect for getting your steps in. Dogs are allowed on leash, though I did notice quite a few off-leash, so something to be mindful of. The park has a pond with lots of waterfowl, which adds a nice touch of nature, but it also means the main gazebo seating area is pretty covered in droppings. If you want a clean place to sit, the benches a little further from the pond are much better. There’s also a neat “Alhambra” statue/sign that makes for a cool photo op. Overall, it’s a pleasant community park that’s great for a stroll, but I’d avoid the gazebo area if you’re planning to sit and relax.

A quiet park with a clean environment, offering many trails for leisure activities to the public. The park is well-integrated with nature and home to many small animals. The playground equipment for young children shows some age, but it still offers a high level of entertainment and uniqueness. Kids continue to have a great time! Nature rating: 🌳🌳🌳🌳🌳
