Free; very limited roadside parking on Mountain Dr

A moderate canyon hike from Mountain Dr up to old hot-spring pools. The pools aren't maintained, and the Land Trust calls water quality vital for endangered species, so it's better for looking than soaking. Parking is extremely limited, so carpool and have a backup trail. It isn't on the Forest Service's 2026–27 storm closure list; the city ran a trail cleanup in Sept 2026.
