A long riverside regional park on the Santa Ynez River at Highway 246 and Sweeney Road, with play equipment, a walking and fitness path, sand volleyball, horseshoes and Kiwanis Lake, a small stocked fishing pond that draws plenty of birds. Five group barbecue areas can be reserved, and four are sheltered. A 35-site full-hookup RV campground (no tents) makes it a handy base, about a mile from La Purísima Mission.
