This is the most beautiful beach in the West coast and one of the few that can be compared to Florida’s beaches. Great place to watch the sunset too. And parking here is so much cheaper than most beaches in OC.

Salt Creek Beach is one of the best spots in Dana Point for a relaxing picnic and chill day. The combination of a sandy beach and a beautiful grassy bluff park makes it perfect for laying out, enjoying the ocean view, and watching the sunset. It’s clean, peaceful, and great whether you want to swim, walk, or just unwind. Definitely a go-to place for a laid-back beach day. It can get a bit busy on weekends, but there’s still plenty of space to find your own quiet corner. Overall, it’s a beautiful, easygoing place that’s always worth visiting.

Lovely place to walk and linger. The park above the beach is a great place to have a picnic and watch the sunset over the ocean horizon. There is lots of green space in the park for people to congregate, and even with lots of people it never feels too full. Be prepared for a bit of an incline going back to the parking lot. But the incline is well worth the views and the vibes. This location is a must-visit whenever you’re in Dana Point.

Beautiful beach with a very active atmosphere. Between the surfing, the basketball court, and everyone out getting their exercise, there’s never a dull moment. Highly recommend visiting

Pretty good beach, worth a visit and seemed like one of the better beaches in the OC. Parked and paid at the machine in the lot behind the hill, plenty of spots. It's a bit of a walk to the sand, you'll pass the nice mural on the way down to the beach. Just note the walk back up to the parking lot is pretty steep. Lots of room here at the beach to sit and enjoy, pretty scenery eveywhere, and there's a little bit of a walkway too.
