  This place was a disappointment on so many levels. Almost no signage, which made it hard to figure out where dry camping was. Lots of areas closed off and pilings of tree branches everywhere. Looks like there are quite a few permanent residents in the area with utilities. The restrooms had paper and flushing toilets, but no doors on the stalls, the floors looked liked they haven’t been mopped since the ‘60’s and the showers didn’t work. It was fairly quiet for sleeping, minus the banging noise from far off in the distance every hour or so. Lots of flies and mosquitoes. I’m was told the ranger is there from 6a-4p, as that is who you pay your camping fee to. I was quoted $7 over the phone. We arrived before 4p and left the next morning after 8a. There was no one to pay.

  Very light polluted campground, forget about stars. The smell from the adjacent feed lot was mild on the chilly night I stayed there. There was no office to pay fees, we were birders and left before anyone that may come by in the morning to collect it. Restrooms were clean, had showers & had supplies but rundown.
