A park with a splash pad, playground equipment, three lighted basketball courts, a horseshoe court and a small barbecue and picnic area — a good cool-off for young kids in Imperial Valley heat. Go before midday in summer, since playground surfaces get very hot and shade is limited.

Honestly this place was way nicer than I expected, especially for a small town park. The grass is green and well kept and there's plenty of shade from the big trees, the kids loved running around on the playground equipment. Only thing is the restrooms were locked when we went, which is a little annoying since we drove 20 minutes to get here. Parking is easy though and it never felt too crowded even on a Saturday. I DEFINITELY brought the wrong shoes for the walking trail but thats on me, not them. If you need a quiet spot to chill this park absolutely does the job
