AI summary of 5 Google reviews — not a first-hand visit. How we write these

Small enough for little kids, with native animals, sharks, rays, raptors and turtles, and staff who stop to talk. You park in a lot and ride a shuttle in; a driver helped one family with a stroller. Only snacks on site, so pack a picnic; there are plenty of tables. Breezy at the lookout.

Bayfront nature center on the wildlife refuge with sea turtles, rays, sharks, and shorebirds.

The facility was small but my kids had fun. It wasn't crowded and was great on a hot day. Very breezy on the lookout and we learned a lot about our native species. My littles loved the fish and the birds were very cool to see. Plenty of parking with a shuttle from the parking lot. The driver helped us with our stroller and was very nice. They only have snack there so I would suggest bringing a picnic and having it at one of the many tables there. Nonetheless we had a great time!

Incredible time at the Living Coast Discovery Center in Chula Vista! So many animals including bald and golden eagles, leopard sharks, manta rays, hawks, owls, lizards, turtles, raccoons, insects and more. The staff is very friendly, helpful and informative. Compared to other zoos and aquariums I haven’t seen a staff as interactive as here. Nice gift shop with lots of toys, books, clothes, and more. You park to the side and the shuttle system takes you to the location, we never waited more than 10 minutes for a shuttle. It was $22 per adult. Recommend!
