What parents say

AI summary of 5 Google reviews — not a first-hand visit. How we write these

Free to walk the grounds, with paid tours if you want inside. Rooms are set out as they were used and you get a pamphlet to follow at your own pace. Clean restrooms, friendly staff, dirt trails and gardens to wander. A larger regional park with more trails sits about a mile away.

One of the finest surviving Anglo-American-era adobes in California, with self-guided tours through the courtyard rooms. It's a separate county park from Guajome Regional but a five-minute walk away, so most families do both in one trip.

The energy of the land here feels very peaceful. Enjoyed exploring with my dog Rosie down the dirt trails, and winding around encountering different surprises along the way. 🙃 Bathrooms are super clean, friendly staff and very relaxing open environment. Love the 19th-century hacienda and Spanish-Mexican adobe architecture. Cute quaint chapel and lovely trees/gardens. It’s free to explore with option for paid tours. Planning on coming back to this 120-acre park with my dad who loves learning about history and how people lived before modern amenities. There’s also a Guajome Regional Park about 1 mile nearby for more trails and walks 🌳

The many rooms of this double courtyard complex are decorated as they would have looked when they were in use. You get a pamplet describing each room and what is in it. Nice so much has been perserved.
