Alta Vista Botanical Gardens

Vista, CA

★★★★★4.6(757 Google reviews)

Fourteen hillside acres of themed gardens, whimsical art and a children's garden tucked inside Brengle Terrace Park. Kids love hunting for the sculptures and dinosaur-themed corners along the winding paths. Wear comfy shoes — the trails climb a bit and reward you with valley views.

Loved our time here!. The garden was like a cute little and much need whimsical escape. They make it easy to pay for tickets and make donations with your phone too. Honestly had an amazing time here and it was the perfect study break I needed from this busy school semester. Will definitely come back as it was also an amazing place to take photos and bring kids.

Nice steep trails. Some ponds, turtles and small fish. Great place to bring your kids plenty to see diansour and more. It is 5 dollars for adults and I believe 3 dollars for children.

It's pay what you can afford but suggests $5 per person (I think). Super cool place to walk around - some easy trails and check out the various sections they have. Appropriate for kids and pincis etc. We've been a few times. You should go.

I visited the Botanical Garden on a Monday around 11 a.m. and there were a few visitors around. The paths for walking through the grounds are nice and I came across several interesting species in bloom. There is a small stream that flows down to a pond, bringing the place to life with the beautiful sound of water and the moisture it adds to the environment.

Peaceful, feel-good place; a wonder to walk. Love 💜 Grateful for the diversity of plant life here. Marvelous to take this all in. Wear solid shoes as the terrain is beautifully natural, off the typical beaten pathways and varies in grade of steepness. I did not notice walkways that were readily wheelchair accessible. Please contact Alta Vista Botanical Gardens organizations to see if there are accomodations. Admission is currently $5 per Adult payable in cash or via QR code electronic payment on smart phone.
