Everything seemed very clean they had many different pools and a fun kid area for small kids. I didn’t like I called the day before and a guy told me wrong swim time so I had to make 2 trips. One thing they should improve is have more available seating and shade! Put chairs in front of lockers that nobody uses or don’t rope of so many tables and chairs for parties when there aren’t parties scheduled. Seating situation needs to be fixed with how hot it gets and how many people you allow in or warn people to bring their own chairs.

The staff is so kind and patient with the kids. We go there for gymnastics, childwatch, swimming, camp and more. The gym upstairs is nice and clean, and they have a variety of classes to suit different fitness levels and preferences. I like the the Egym because sometimes you don't want to think or plan ahead, you just want to show up and get some exercise. They do a great job with all of it.

I want to give a big thank you to Katelyn, Alexa and Brooklyn for their awesome help during my granddaughters 7th birthday party on Saturday, April 18th. They were wonderful, jumped right in to help setup and decorate. Were awesome with the kids in the gym assisting the children through the obstacle course and on the equipment. All of the children had a wonderful time. Parents and kids were smiling and enjoying the experience. I highly recommend booking the Santee YMCA for your child's birthday party gymnastics package. If you are able to request the staff who facilitates the party. Ask for Alexa, Katelyn and Brooklyn! They were great with all the kids! Every child felt included and had a super time; girls, boy and children on the children on the spectrum.

"SANTEE" STAFF is remarkable. Accounting at the Mission Valley location needs training and additional customer service courtesy. Treats their paying clients using 3rd party payee like 2nd class citizens. Very Sad considering YMCA's foundation is built in serving all financial classes. Be mindful on what your paying for in regards to ymca camp.... they will charge you for their mistakes if you dont catch it. Making you liable for weekly charges even though your child was not present that week.

On Monday, January 5th, I went to enroll my daughter in a gymnastics class. She started the class the same day. That very first day, we were told she was not on the class list. I went to the front desk, and after checking, they said it was not a problem and allowed her to stay. Everything seemed resolved. The following Monday, my wife took our daughter to the same class, and the exact same issue happened again: “Your daughter is not on the list.” She was sent to the front desk, where they claimed they could not find my daughter in the system or the transaction. Even though my wife showed them proof that we had already been charged for the class, they insisted she pay again so our daughter could attend. They told her they would “look for the transaction” and, once found, they would apply the money to the next month. That is not acceptable. Our responsibility as customers is to pay the required amount and bring our child to class — not to pay twice because of their internal system or administrative issues. What makes this even more frustrating is that we are regular customers. We live very close, bring our daughter here for gymnastics, ballet, swimming lessons, and also use the pool during the summer. Being asked to pay twice for a class that was already paid for, despite providing proof, is unprofessional and unacceptable.
