La Mesa, CA

At 53 acres this is the biggest park in La Mesa — playground, wide lawns, a jogging path, shaded picnic tables with barbecues, and a dog park split into three sections by dog size. The amphitheater hosts the free summer concerts, so arrive well ahead of start time on those evenings.

Very nice park for a day with the kids. Nice playground, penty of open, grassed areas to play in. It also has a nice dog park. Bathrooms are well kept.

Wonderful way to spend a Spring Morning. Harry Griffen Park was the perfect venue for the Harmonica Festival. Not a bad view of the musicians from anywhere in the park. Only observation that might help... bring an umbrella as there is a lot of sun.

By far the best park in San Diego Ive visited in my surrounding area so far. Great playground. Plenty of parking. Dog park is great though I wish it was grass terrain instead of sand and sticks. Haven't been in the bathroom yet. Tons of open field area for play. Great walking park good for strollers and not. Alot of picnic and cookout areas. Great amount of shade in most of the park. Event area. Also some sort of staff around to manage the park. Very important. I go to this park at least once a week.

My dog LOVES coming here, this is a great park to take and walk the dogs. Lots of other dogs here and plenty of space around a really nice nature path.
