Volunteers run ride-on scale steam and diesel locomotives on a track inside Rohr Park, and anyone can hop on for free. Only two days a month, so put it in the calendar — and bring cash for the donation bucket, since the club runs entirely on it.

I thought this was extremely fun for our boys. The trains are small so the boys had fun sitting on them and feeling bigger. The line to wait was short and was very reasonable given the attention span of toddlers.

This truly worthwhile organization of "semi-geezers" runs the mini train rail at Rohr Park. So much fun to see the excited smiles as youngsters line up to ride the rails. It's free, but please bring a donation. These groups need our support more than ever.

Just a wonderful place to ride what amounts to a fun toy. Those who run these trains are very serious, donating their time to create this unique aspect for those who come and visit, or those who live in Bonita. May it continue for a very long time. And Thank You to those engineers for making it happen.

The idea is amazing, and the playground nearby is great! I wish this google pin had schedule info, when the trains and volunteers are out. Came on Saturday and didn't catch them, will now be checking their website.

My two year old was so excited to see the trains, screaming "I love trains!" but when he got to the actual train and touched it, they all just looked over and said "please no touching". Nobody came over to encourage a youngster's interest in their hobby. They all sat there staring at us while my child bawled about not being able to touch or ride the train.
