Rancho Bernardo–Glassman Recreation Center

Rancho Bernardo, CA

★★★★★4.6(276 Google reviews)

The indoor gym at the community park, with drop-in open-gym hours and youth programs — a useful backup when inland heat makes outdoor play miserable. Call first, since the schedule shifts around league bookings.

This is a place where you can spend time actively with your family, and it's also a place where you can simply be alone and enjoy the beauty and tranquility I definitely recommend 👍

Nice large park with lots of amenities. Baseball fields, tennis courts, open fields, playgrounds (one with sand pit, the other with wood chips)horse shoes, a long walking trail/ sidewalk surrounding it all. Recreational center with basketball ball courts, and setups for volleyball and pickle ball. Outdoor basketball courts as well. Parking lot can get crowded. Parts of the park need maintenance. Nice overall.

Has pull-up bars...great Geocash area for Ingress! This park has about 7 ballfield, tennis courts, a player area for children, a special dog park area. In addition, two public bathrooms with one of the an attachment for concessions during major events. The perimeter has a nice walking path for getting your Steps in. Finally, there is a trailhead to hike, and it is listed on AllTrails APP.

Frequently walk this park while my son’s team warms up before the game starts. Tranquil and lively at the same time. Lots of trees to enjoy and kids out getting some good exercises.
