Glen Park is a well-used neighborhood park that can feel completely different depending on when you visit. During off-hours, it's an interesting and relatively quiet place to walk, relax, or bring your dog. During weekends and peak hours, however, it can get very busy with picnickers, family celebrations, children, and activity around the basketball courts. Dogs are welcome, but I find it best to stay toward the quieter areas of the park and away from the playground and sports areas. There can also be more unhoused people spending time here than at some nearby neighborhood parks, which changes the overall feel depending on the time of day. The grounds are generally well maintained, although the public restrooms could definitely use more attention. Visit during a quieter time and it's a pleasant local park; during busy periods, expect crowds, noise, and lots of activity.

It's a great park. There's plenty of parking all around it. Everything the kids could want to do grass area nice playground, but the best part is It almost always has tables available.
