La Quinta Park
La Quinta, CA

The city's largest park, an 18-acre spread with a big playground, a fenced toddler area, a splash pad, ball fields and a skatepark. There's room to run and public art along the walking path. Aim for the splash pad on hot days, but morning or evening is kindest when summer temperatures climb.

Great area for kids right across the street from La Quinta high School. Perfect family environment. Peaceful, welcoming and a lot for the kids to do.

La Quinta Park offers is a great escape into nature, with recreational amenities like park gym for both kids and adults. Nice views of the Santa Rosa Mountains. Families appreciate the playgrounds and spacious picnic areas, ideal for gatherings and relaxation. Has 2 softball fields. Enough room for soccer games and a paved track around the park. You will also find a little skate/bike park near the basketball courts. There are restrooms and playgrounds too. Check out my rental cabin near Big Bear through my profile. ;)

Kids had a blast at the water fountain ⛲ area for the kiddos. **Update** They have updated the water fountain area for the kids, all new area for the kids to play. I came here about 7 am to walk my dog, and it was a pleasant morning for it. It was, however, busy with LQ high school students being dropped off in the morning.

This is a nice large park to take a walk around it. They have baseball fields, basketball courts and a kids park. There is also an excercise area and a skate board park. They do not have a dog park but lots of room to walk your dog.
