Courreges Park

Fountain Valley, CA

★★★★4.4(66 Google reviews)

This friendly 12-acre neighborhood park has a climbing structure with two slides, a sandpit, a jogging course and plenty of shaded picnic tables. Next to Courreges Elementary, it's an easy, uncrowded spot for younger kids to play. Bring a ball and let them roam the open grass.

It’s a great park! Once it hits 2:30 pm a bunch of kids come out of the black gate and play. It’s not that bad but i recommend coming here for little children to play! It’s also a great space for walking your pet!

This is one of those long skinny parks. Grass is maintained. There are no services, no restrooms, no shade. There are a few, very few park benches. If you want to spend the day bring a chair and maybe a pop up tent. Due to the electrical lines kite flying is discouraged.

Have been stopping by sporadically for years. Google Maps wants me to do a review of it. What can you say about a neighborhood park? The playground equipment is now mostly plastic so it doesn't burn people as much as it used to. That's a plus. Not that I use. Now I mostly just sit on the bench in the middle of one of my walks. You can definitely hear the buzzing here from the power lines.

Safe and quiet. It’s well kept by the city of FV. Great place for picnic.
