Recently made over with a forest-themed playground built around real tree trunks and boulders — a favorite for families with young climbers. There's a disc golf course, fitness equipment, three dog parks and a shaded loop trail down to the San Diego River. Grab one of the three picnic shelters for a party, or bring a scooter for the paved path.

I only go for the dog park when I'm pet sitting out this way. The people are friendly. The dog park is a lot of dirt but they all seem to enjoy it. Water available. People are nice. Parking can be tricky. Not a ton of space. It's popular w kids and disc golfers too. Entrance can be difficult to spot. It's right before the strip mall. No real sign. Google maps will say you're there well before the entrance as well. Offer some canopies sections w tables and large grills, one near playground. Cornhole as well

We take our 2 dachshunds here every week to walk the trail. They love it and so do we. They also have dog parks that are designated for the size of your dog. Frisbee gulf, corn hole, playground; bathrooms, basketball courts, covered picnic and barbecue areas. Something for everyone! Highly recommend!

This is a beautiful park. Several play structures for all age ranges, clean and well maintained. There's even an adaptive swing for children with special needs. I could also see that there are several paths and trails for exploring and hiking.

This might be one of the most natural and well-designed parks I’ve seen around San Diego. The whole layout just feels seamless with nature – walking trails along the river, trees everywhere, and open spaces that make you forget you’re still in the city. The playgrounds are amazing: big slides, climbing structures, swings, ball courts, and even little bridges and shaded pavilions. There are play sets for all ages, from toddlers to older kids, which makes it super family-friendly. I really like how creative the play areas are, using natural materials like logs and rocks to make it feel more adventurous. Beyond that, there’s plenty of space for a chill picnic, a dog park with different sections, and wide open lawns. You’ll also find outdoor fitness equipment, basketball courts, and a disc golf course if you want something active. Plenty of parking, nice restrooms, and shaded areas make it comfortable to spend hours here. It’s honestly one of those places where you can just relax, let the kids explore, or bring friends for a laid-back afternoon.
