  Beautiful nature walk. Short enough to do it with young kids and dogs on leash. Well signposted. There was still snow on the trail when we visited and it was melting so bring waterproof hiking shoes for the puddles. Plenty of parking for $5 fee you pay online. There’s a water fountain at the start of the trail but it wasn’t working when we arrived.

  A really relaxing, short loop trail just off the Rim of the World Highway, slightly east of Lake Arrowhead. Parking is $5 but I find that they rarely check for this. It is especially beautiful during spring and summer, but we stopped in during late February. The trail itself takes about 30 minutes to get through and has 25 different viewpoints that are laid out on the map that you get at the front. The main highlights you will see are different types of trees, nesting boxes, small bridges, and just really tranquil, beautiful scenery, but my favorite was the giant sequoia trees. I would say that the sequoias are the highlight of the trail and were planted in the 1930s. It’s a really peaceful walk where animals are allowed and we also saw many people jogging so it really is a multi use area. I would recommend to anyone who enjoys a scenic stroll through the forest.

  The hubs and I took our pups here on Labor Day.. We arrived around 8am and did the whole hike and it took about an hour with a couple of stops to just enjoy the scenery. This place is BEAUTIFUL! The trees are massive and majestic! The different smells in the air from the trees was delightful! There's a donation box which I highly encourage people to donate, it doesn't have to be a lot but we all know even a little bit helps out. We will definitely be going back, for sure in the spring when all the flowers are blooming. Definitely a great experience! Nature is just so stunning!
