A city-run aquatic center on 166th Street with affordable recreational swim sessions — a bargain for a hot SoCal afternoon. Residents pay less than non-residents, so bring ID if you live in Cerritos. Call ahead to confirm the public swim schedule, since lap and class times can eat into open-swim hours.

I love this facility. Team there is great, locker room is sufficiently spacious, the other swimmers are always kind and respectful, and the facility is both pretty and clean even if it's starting to show its years a little bit. Only drawback right now is that it's been shut down for several weeks due to unforeseen maintenance issues. Can't wait for it to get running again!

It’s a really nice clean pool . It’s not as warm as I would like but still very nice and the lifeguards are friendly as well . Just a few minor glitches in the shower area like hooks in the showers to hang your bags or soap s and towels . Admission price is awesome and parking is great

The students had a great time playing water polo. Unfortunately, in my opinion, the pool facility is aged and in need of repair — updates are next to none. It’s disappointing, as it’s been the same since I was a kid going there in the early 1980's

The best place with a large swimming pool, they have several lanes and the pool will be pack with full of kid's classes. Getting into the class is not so easy, you will never get the slot you want but it's worth to give try. They also have Cerrito's aquatic club here, which trains kids for golf and swimming for competition.

Ive been coming here for over 20 years. I learned how to swim here when i was just a little kid. Now my son is learning his swimming here as well. Big facility, friendly staff, only complaint is that the boys locker area gets pretty dirty. Theres un flushed toilets and floating logs regularly in some toilets. This place is bustling. Swim lessons, free swim, divers, parents. Its a cool atmosphere.
