Heritage Park
Cerritos, CA

Themed around Old Boston circa 1776, this park's centerpiece is a play island ringed by a moat full of ducks, geese and turtles. Kids race across the covered bridge, explore the ship and dart through hidden passageways with slides and water features. Expect it to be busy on weekend afternoons; mornings are calmer.

Easily one of my favorite parks to go to. There’s always a lot of birds to watch, and trying to spot turtles is always fun! It’s nice to take a stroll and look at all of the flowers growing. The only downside is that people do a lot of photo shoots here and take up the paths. But it’s a public park so I can’t really complain about that. Overall very nice

One of my favorite Parks has a model of colonial Boston during the revolutionary era.. the park has restrooms that they keep clean a playground for the children to enjoy basketball courts, picnic tables and grills throughout the Park in the center of the park. Is the island complete with waterfall bridge waterway underpasses and on the island itself is colonial Boston. There's waterfowl throughout the park. The geese and ducks make a sort of melodic sound when they're quacking

I met my son & his girlfriend at the park to take pics of them before prom. It was a gorgeous day and around 75 degrees. I think everyone else who was going to prom had the same idea. It was packed full of teens decked out in their attire. I've been going g through the pics & there are people in just about every shot! The park is nice, with a bunch of fun things to see & do! Parking lot is a bit small for all of the people it hosts.

Nice little park to walk around for few hours. There are a lot of kid friendly areas to keep children busy for a few hours as well (playground, pirate island, basketball area, and picnic spots all over the place). Please be aware there is a lot of wildlife so keep an eye on your children.
