Reviewers rate the rocks for scrambling and hiking, with a small playground and horses about. Two warnings. The gates shut at dark rather than the posted time and people have been locked in. And the toilets are portaloos in poor shape, so bring your own paper and hand sanitiser.
An 80-acre park tucked among dramatic desert rock formations off Highway 18, with a playground, horse trails and a rebuilt BMX track that older kids love. Bring bikes and helmets for the track, and let little ones scramble the rocks while you picnic — it feels wonderfully wide-open and uncrowded.

A warning to all future visitors, the park closes as soon as it gets dark, not 6:30 like it says on here. If you are not out of the parking lot by the time the sun is set, they WILL lock you in. And maybe even get mad at you as if you're a misbehaving kid, even if it's your FIRST time here. Regardless, it is a very beautiful place to hike and climb. I would still highly recommend it.

I really like this Horseman Center Park pretty nice spot to go around for a hike a jog or a run have a little park for the kids and also love when all the horse owners bring out all the beautiful horses pretty cool they need to do a better job with keeping up with the porta potties is my only complaint not for me but for the ladies and the kids for me I don't care but if ladies are going to go down and might have to use the restroom you might want to take your own toilet paper and hand sanitizer
