The staff is really nice and helpful! There’s designated days you can see ahead of time for children’s events which is cool. I don’t give it 5 stars because you can’t study in there. For some reason the booths in the back are always filled with loud people who go there to soak up the AC or charge their phones and talk loud like if they’re outside or home. When it’s children I understand but grown adults chatting all loud like they dont know any better is annoying l. Also it doesn’t help that the homeless use the back booths to take naps and snore loud. Idk its a good library but don’t anticipate to get a good quiet study session because there’s no one consistently regulating in between events.

Best library around. Come get some books and don't forget to get digital books through libby. Libby is much more useful to me than any other subscription service, even paid ones. Also, if your a CA resident you can apply to other county and city libraries in person and open up an array of options for books.

I needed to get a food handler's permit The librarians were very nice and patient and kind I told her I was computer illiterate I'm a senior and she told me what to do she made it very simple for me plus me not knowing that I would need earphones they sell earphones for $1 in the library how about that and I was able to finish my task well I got there too late so the library closed so I have to go back today and finish it but she let me know that it will pick up where I left off

Apple Valley library is a good location to study. Not only do they do everything that a library would traditionally do (lend books and various media) but they have a cadre of computers that can be used by those who have a library card free of charge; Wi-Fi is also free. However, there is a nominal fee to print or fax. Additionally, are study rooms, study booths, and a dedicated children’s study area. Most tables throughout the large main room have electrical outlets sufficiently for charging your mobile devices and keeping your lap top charged. They also have a used bookstore on site where patrons can purchase used books and various media at bargain prices.
