Montebello City Park

Montebello, CA

★★★★4.4(1,036 Google reviews)

A well-loved neighborhood park off Whittier Blvd with a rebuilt playground, sports courts, walking paths and a summer swimming pool. A true local-parent spot for an afternoon of play without spending a dime. The new play structure has shade sails but the courts bake in summer, so aim for morning or after 5pm and bring water.

I like this park. Clean, organized, and multiple opportunities are here, from toddlers to 99. My hubby's favorites the kickball, tennis, and gym area. I never see security guys, but the park visitors are great even without them. Unfortunately, the swimming area is opened only in the summertime; I would enjoy it all year, even in January.

Good Park to go to. plenty of parking. There's jogging path and walking path. There's basketball court tennis court skateboarders Court. There's two playgrounds ones for kids under 5 and the second one is for older kids. There's an outside theater and swimming pool. Do to The covid-19 all is closed. But there's plenty of room for them to play around.

I visited this park last weekend and was blown away by the quality of service. The park staff were incredibly friendly, offering useful information about the trails and local wildlife. The grounds are beautifully maintained, and the amenities, including clean restrooms and picnic areas, were top-notch. Considering the price of admission, I felt the value was exceptional. The park offers something for everyone, from relaxing walks to more adventurous hiking trails.
