Edward Vincent Jr. Park

Inglewood, CA

★★★★★4.5(1,956 Google reviews)

The 55-acre green heart of Inglewood: five separate playgrounds, a 1.2-mile walking loop, big shaded picnic lawns, and an Olympic-size public swimming pool with an ADA bathhouse for hot days. Come early on summer weekends, when families claim picnic spots fast. Locals still call it 'Vincent Park,' and the skate park and tennis courts draw older kids too.

Hey this is a wonderful park! It is pretty well maintained and is always a refreshing place to be! The whole park is pretty darn big, with TONS to do, and LOTS of open space! There's plenty of free parking at different spots around the park, and there's alot of decently clean, free public bathrooms around the park with places to wash your hands as well! There's two pump tracks for bikes, skateboards, scooters, skates, ect, with a medium sized skate park next to it, and two nice baseball fields. There's a sand volleyball court at the top of the park right next to one of the playgrounds. They have an amphitheater there as well that's pretty well maintained, along with a larger playground next to a big pavilion with tons of picnic benches. There's biking/walking paths all up and down the park perfect for a nice stroll outside! Overall, it's a pretty cool place. Prime picnic location, perfect for birthdays, parties, events, games, sports, ect. Lot's of grass to play in, and in a pretty safe spot of town. 10/10 park, 100% will visit again, one of the best parks in the area

I bring my nephew here regularly, but after what happened last week, I am incredibly concerned about the safety of this park. While playing on the playground structure, my nephew went underneath the equipment and almost touched a discarded, used condom covered in bodily fluids and waste. This is an absolute biohazard left completely exposed in an area specifically designed for toddlers and young children. Whatever is happening here overnight is completely unacceptable, and the lack of morning maintenance is putting kids at direct risk. The city needs to send a dedicated cleaning crew out every single morning to thoroughly inspect and sanitize the playground structures before families arrive. Until the city takes park security and morning clean-ups seriously, please check underneath and inside the play structures before letting your kids loose.

This park is my dog’s absolute favorite spot. The second we get there, he gets so excited and just takes off running. There’s plenty of space for him to play, and he loves rolling around in the grass and chilling in the shade after. It’s clean, relaxed, and full of other happy dogs. We both leave tired and happy every time.

It’s sorta in the neighborhood! Great walking trail; with hills. Nice areas for gatherings. My women’s church group met there before ! My church has had a number of picnics there. Has two newly remodeled playgrounds. Been coming here for years, never had any issues!☺️ Oh it also has a skatepark area!!👍🏽

A great park! Morningside High School had its reunion there. We used the walkway and grassy hill areas. Very nice. The grass is well maintained. The two swimming pools were open and had people enjoying the cool clear water. I parked near the playground area and saw nice equipment for kids to play on with families. The separate brick buildings that house the bathroom areas are very nice. And provide more privacy. I recommend the park for all types of fun, events, family outings and more. .
