  I don't understand the point of this Library anymore. First of all they cut the computer time down to 30 minutes from 60. Then they kick you off if you're not "doing something important" like first of all how do you know im not doing anything important? Look over peoples shoulders is an invasion of privacy. Besides how much can you get done in the 30 mins? (that counts down faster btw). I've gone there to try and apply for college and by the time I got to the website it was down to 20 mins and after my college application I was at 15 mins I didnt even have time to do my FASFA application. Then my friend had a book report to write today and now she's telling me they told her she had to get off cause it 'wasnt important'. Not only that but their security there is rude and looks at everyone with suspicion even if theyre just sitting still, it's ridiculous. What the heck happened to the library? Everyone used to be so kind and now its gone down to the dumps. Almost all the outlets also don't work there, their wifi is VERY choppy and the information on how to get there is non-existent. The gps leads you to the middle of the golf course, you need to let people know that it's by the old restaurant on Green Tree. My experience and my friends experience here was horrible. Their kid section is also way too big. Where are all the adult books? There barely anywhere to sit and if you sit anywhere near or in the kids section they kick you out if you're not 16. Not only that but apparently they also let people curse out loud and won't say a damn thing to them but get upset if you're on the computer 'doing nothing'. Do better Victorville Library. This is absolutely ridiculous.

  We love coming here! The staff is very helpful and knowledgeable. My kids had a great time in the children’s area and I loved that there was a space outside for them to hang out. Although there are some amenities that are not available yet it’s nice to see the library’s growth in the community. We are very excited to see how everything comes together once the library has all their resources ready for use!

  Wonderful atmosphere. Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. Only suggestions I would make: 1. Increase computer time to one hour. You use at least 10 of your 30 minutes just logging on. 2. Improve the diversity of your book selection by asking the community what they would like in there Library. 3. Update the copy machine to include faxing. Thank you!

  I’m disappointed with my experiences at this library. Several events I planned to attend were canceled, often with little notice, which makes it difficult to rely on their programming. When events do take place, there is often not enough seating for the number of attendees advertised, leaving some people standing or unable to participate comfortably. I’ve also encountered staff members who came across as unfriendly and unhelpful. I hope the library improves its communication, customer service, and event planning in the future.

  If you haven't visited a library in a while, you owe it to yourself to check this place out. The new location is beautiful, clean, well managed, and all the people that work here are super friendly. I was surprised to find a very current bestseller in their inventory. I didn't have to order it or anything, they just handed it to me.
