Mojave Narrows Regional Park
Between Apple Valley and Victorville, this lush regional park has two lakes (Pelican and Horseshoe) stocked with trout in winter and catfish in summer, plus shady picnic spots and a rare bit of green in the High Desert. It's closed Tuesdays and Wednesdays, and bring a state fishing license if anyone over 16 plans to cast a line.

Scandia Family Fun Center
The Victor Valley's main amusement spot — go-karts, bumper boats, two Scandinavian-themed mini-golf courses, batting cages and an arcade.

Victorville Winter Festival & Tree Lighting
Snow play, sledding, ice gliding and kids' activities by day. In the evening there are carriage rides, ice skating, Santa visits, cocoa and cookies, and the official tree lighting at City Hall. Tip: sledding and ice gliding need pre-registration, so sign up ahead.

Victorville Spring Festival & Egg Hunt
Age-divided egg hunts with a separate Bunny Trail for under-2s, plus a Kids Zone, seller's market, carnival games and Peter Rabbit at Hook Park. Tip: hunt tickets go on sale March 1, 2027, and registration is required for every hunt.

San Bernardino County Fair
The county's official fair at the San Bernardino County Fair & Event Center in Victorville — carnival rides, livestock and 4-H exhibits, food vendors and grandstand entertainment.
