Big green space with a playground, swings, picnic areas, sports courts and a separate dog park. The recurring complaint is dog mess on the main field and dogs running off-leash outside the dog area, so watch where small children sit. Restrooms are up the hill. One reviewer warns about coyotes after dark.
Neighborhood park with playgrounds and sports courts below the namesake Eagle Rock formation. The recreation building itself is worth noticing — a 1953 pavilion by modernist architect Richard Neutra, with walls that hand-crank open like windows to blend indoors and outdoors. It was threatened with demolition in the 1980s but saved and designated a Los Angeles Historic-Cultural Monument, and today anchors 21.5 acres of park space.

This park would be in such better shape if the people using it took better care of it , instead of treating the common use field green area by the baseball fields like their offleash dogs's personal backyard and toilet. Theres dog poop everywhere because nobody picks up after their pet. Dogs are always offleash running around even though theres a designated dog park RIGHT THERE.
