  They over sold the event (U.S. men vs. Montenegro on June 28) & did not open the other half of the seating area, creating a situation that would have been shut down by the Irvine fire marshal had they seen it. Probably 2,500-3,000 people in a space for 1,500. It was standing-room only after the crowd filled every available open space - including stairwells - and the announcer kept asking folks to "squeeze in" and "excuse the construction." Whole familes, just mulling around, frustrated. But what was sad turned to unsafe after facilities personnel LOCKED the gates at the back of the lone grandstand following halftime, dangerously pinning everyone in and leaving only one staircased exit point. Not sure who allowed this to happen, but it was not a $33-per-ticket experience.

  We were here for a synchronized swimming figures meet. Super clean facility, pool was the perfect temperature (according to both of my kids), and the staff were all helpful and kind. We're hoping to return here for more hosted events in the future.
