We went in because my 9 year old wanted to read war and peace, we went to find it in the back and the place reeked of b.o. we noticed quite a few transients sleeping in the stacks. We got our books and headed to the teens only center with our 12 year old. Unfortunately there were too many childless adults in the teens only center so we went to the kids only center. Kids were running wild and we couldn't read so we left. Meh. Nicely designed to, very pretty.

I always come here with my boys, but today I came with my 7 year old autistic son. We usually hang out in the kids section but today I needed a book upstairs so I went and my son was reading out loud but not being loud or anything just reading out loud to himself when this lady that works there comes up to us and tell me I’m gonna NEED to keep him quiet because they can hear him “all the way downstairs” mind you there is other smaller kids crying and screaming while my son is sitting down reading his book. I told her I’ll try but he’s autistic so… she gave me the nastiest look and walked away. Clearly ppl with disabilities who are minding their business aren’t welcome here
