  Poinsettia Community Park isn’t just one of the best parks in Carlsbad. It’s world class. It’s huge, always clean, and the coastal breeze is usually perfect. There are basketball courts, tennis courts, pickleball courts, a dog park, a kids’ playground, beautiful walking trails, and a full-size professional soccer field. My jet-black Goldendoodle, Blueberry, and I come here often. She is completely obsessed with her ball and considers herself a professional athlete. I throw it, she chases it, and then she decides whether I’ve earned the privilege of getting it back. Blueberry is also very proud of her skills. If anyone is watching, her speed mysteriously increases by about 40%. No audience, no problem. She’ll still show off for me. It’s a beautiful park with plenty of space for families, athletes, dogs, and people who just want some fresh air. Definitely Five stars from me and 5 paws from Blueberry 🐶

  Poinsettia Park is hands down our favorite park in the area. It’s huge and truly has everything you could want in one spot. The playground is great for kids of different ages, and there’s plenty of open space to run around and play. The walking trail is perfect for getting steps in, and we love that there are tennis courts, pickleball courts, baseball fields, and even a dog park all in one place. There are also BBQs and picnic tables, which make it so easy to spend the whole afternoon here with family and friends. Huge bonus: the bathrooms are consistently clean and well-maintained. It’s just such a well-kept, versatile park that works for everyone!!
