What a fun place! I had no idea what to expect, but this place was amazing. The staff was so welcoming and helpful.. they showed my kids how to use some of the stranger instruments and knew all the history. It was wonderful how my kids could experiment with different instruments. It was also only $10/ student to enter and my kids were fully engaged for two hours. Just wonderful.

A small but wonderful museum! If you are able, book 2 or more weeks in advance and pay for a docent. All exhibits are well explained by the touchscreens but it is wonderful to hear the docent tell you much more. In addition, there is an adult room with instruments to try and a children's room with a lot of interactive musical choices. Fortunately, I live nearby and love its gift shop for unique gifts year round. This museum makes my heart sing!
