A volunteer-run nature centre at the head of a flat 2.7-mile shoreline trail around a 561-acre protected lagoon and bird sanctuary. Flat enough for a pram most of the way.

Good, long trail next to the lagoon. Wildlife is abundant. There are benches along the way to rest and enjoy the scenery out in the lagoon. The nature center is worth checking out if you have a chance.

My aunt and O had a lovely time hiking the trail and also exploring all the educational material at the Visitor Center! Evie (sorry if the spelling is wrong) was the volunteer working while we were there and she was so friendly and you could tell she had a lot of knowledge and passion for this and othe local lagoons! The trail had a lot of benches along the way for basking in the nature of it. There were some shady spots, but a majority of it was in the sun, so please make sure to wear sunscreen and have water!
