Cute park to go walk around but I would go with a partner or friend as there are unhoused people around. The park is a decent size also great for a walk and or biking. We went on a weekday so might be better during this time. Plenty of shade to read or have cute picnic.

I'm glad they maintained the character of the parks original design. I grew up in the area so Boysen Park was a place me & my friends spent a lot of our time. Its been 3 decades & although theres been changes to the park the heart remains. Now I bring my kids by so they can experience some of the fun I had growing up. The rocket doesn't have the death slide but it's still cool. The plane needs some restoration but please don't ever remove it.
