This is a shopping and eating street, not a kids' destination. Reviewers say parking is hard, so plan where the car goes, and note it is a longer walk from the beach than it looks. Crowds are steady, which several describe as feeling safe. Shops run expensive and quality varies.
Trendy walkable street lined with boutiques, ice-cream shops, cafes, and weekend food stalls.

Abbot Kinney is a great bustling street you can walk down and see a bunch of hip expensive shops. There are plenty of clothing stores and retraunts along the boulevard. Lots of shoppers so feels pretty safe. It is a bit far of a walk from the beach though and parking may be hard so plan ahead!
