Kiddie Beach is the only spot inside Channel Islands Harbor where swimming is allowed, and its sheltered water is calmer than the open-coast beaches. There's a parking lot on South Victoria Avenue, and a paved path runs along the harbor entrance to Silver Strand Beach, which has restrooms. On county beaches, dogs are allowed on leash only before 9am and after 5pm.
