  Underwood Family Farms in Moorpark has been a special destination for our family since our firstborn was a toddler. She’s now in college and still carries such beautiful memories of this farm. The farm offers wonderful seasonal activities for Easter and Halloween, along with fresh produce year-round. Our personal favorite has always been the pick your own strawberries. They’re sweet and beautiful. In 2026, they added a tulip garden that bloomed from early February to early March. We were lucky enough to catch the last bit of the blooms, and it was absolutely stunning. The vibrant rows of tulips made the perfect backdrop for photos, with the Easter house charmingly set up in the background. We ran out of time for the horse-drawn wagon ride, but the tractor ride through the fields was just as enjoyable and a great way to tour the farm. Underwood continues to be a place where memories are made, and we’re happy to keep returning year after year.

  Underwood Farms is a great place to visit, especially for families with kids. The way it works is you pay an entrance fee that covers looking at animals, tractor rides, and some other activities. You buy tickets for other activities such as petting animals and other rides. Bring quarters to pay for animal feed. Then you can go out in their extensive fields to pick fruits, vegetables, and flowers, whatever is in season. Bags and containers are provided. When you leave you pay by weight for the fruit and veggies at very reasonable prices (many veggies are only 1.29 a pound). There are so many veggies you can't possibly pick them all. You can also buy produce and plants at the market during checkout. It's a good idea to bring a small knife or multi tool for picking. We had fun picking strawberries, cauliflower, lettuce, radishes, sunflowers, etc. Definitely worth another visit.

  Really a fun place to pick fruits and vegetables. Try to go during the weekday - as it's a lot less crowded. Petting zoo and animals u can feed. Fun for young and old alike. Wear sunscreen and be prepared for a lot of walking.

  Honestly, very fun. It was different and first time visiting a pumpkin patch farm. Great activities. I would recommend. I did feel a bit out of place by some staff, when we were in line to get in, or buying tickets, or to play games. In many places it appeared that they wanted to care for other families before us even if we made eye contact. To say the least we were next in line and staff preferred to help people who came or were after us. I’m not going to let that be my overall experience. Maybe they were just overwhelmed? I do suggest to check it out, other staff went out of their way to make you feel welcomed !
