📍 Where Moorpark is

Moorpark sits in Los Angeles, Southern California. Nearest major airport: Hollywood Burbank (~30 mi / 49 km). It's roughly 40 mi (64 km) from Downtown LA and 147 mi (236 km) from San Diego — SoCal traffic can make a drive take far longer than the distance suggests, so plan around it.

💡 Local tip: Happy Camp Canyon has no restrooms or services, so bring water and plan it for school-age kids.

Underwood Family Farms (Moorpark)

A beloved working farm whose Animal Center lets kids feed goats, alpacas, donkeys, and emus, while tractor-drawn wagon rides (included with admission) carry families out to the u-pick fields, which rotate with the seasons. A play barn with hay pyramids, a sandbox, and pony rides rounds out a classic all-day family trip.

~$5–$15 entry (more on event days)
