One of San Diego's biggest Independence Day parades runs south on Orange Avenue from First Street to Churchill Place. The center median opens to spectators at 5am, with no overnight staking. The 15-minute fireworks show is separate from the Big Bay Boom, which is visible from the Ferry Landing.
