Kid suitability: low-medium. A stairway at the end of Table Rock Drive drops to a small, rocky cove named for its flat-topped offshore rock; there's street parking and no facilities. It's best visited at low tide, when there's more sand. Laguna's tide pools are a Marine Protected Area: look, don't touch or take anything, and never turn over rocks.
