A 74-acre wooded county park in the foothills between Summerland and Carpinteria, with a short trail up to an overlook gazebo, BBQs, restrooms and a fenced, oak-shaded off-leash dog area. The county says the playground at picnic Area 1 is being removed because of irreparable damage, so don't count on a playground. It's about 3 miles up Toro Canyon Rd from Via Real.
