The beachfront walkway and bike path runs the length of town and links to Manhattan and Redondo. The speed limit is 8 mph, riding is banned in the 11th-14th Street walk zone when the lights flash, and riders must yield to pedestrians. Leashed dogs are allowed on the Strand but not on the sand or the pier.
