The Hermosa Beach Pier is easily one of the best coastal spots in Southern California, and visiting during the recent festival was an absolute blast! The festival was great—the energy was incredibly lively, the local vendor setups were fantastic, and it brought such a vibrant, community-focused buzz to the entire area. Even outside of events, the pier itself is beautiful, offering pristine panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean, surfers, and stunning sunsets. It is a clean, well-maintained structure that is perfect for a scenic walk, catching the cool ocean breeze, or taking incredible photos. The surrounding Pier Avenue is packed with excellent restaurants, lively bars, and surf shops, making it a complete destination. Whether you are checking out a massive beach festival or just enjoying a relaxed afternoon by the water, Hermosa Beach Pier never disappoints. A quintessential SoCal experience!

4 stars. Really lovely area with a great atmosphere. Parking wasn’t bad at all — about $3 an hour for street parking. Beautiful place to walk alongside the beach, and there were lots of people biking and running. The weather was perfect, and the sunset was absolutely beautiful. Definitely a nice spot to relax and enjoy the evening.
