A compact amusement park sitting out over the ocean. Reviewers warn it gets crowded at weekends and over school holidays, so keep kids close. Ride tickets and unlimited-ride packages are cheaper booked online in advance. The sand is hard going for strollers and anyone with mobility limits.
Iconic oceanfront pier with a solar-powered Ferris wheel, roller coaster, midway games, and an aquarium.

Had a wonderful time at Pacific Park on the Santa Monica Pier. The park offers a great mix of classic rides, games, and beautiful ocean views that make it a fun spot for families and visitors alike. The atmosphere was lively and welcoming. 🎡🎢 The Ferris wheel in particular provides stunning views of the Pacific Ocean and the pier, which really enhances the overall experience. It is also a great place to grab a bite as well and enjoy the scenic surroundings. It is a perfect place to spend a few hours on a sunny day in Santa Monica, whether you are looking to enjoy the rides or simply take in the views. I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting the area. 😁💯

A great place to start or finish your Route 66 adventure. An evening walk along the pier, with all the lights glowing, creates an amazing atmosphere. Definitely worth a visit!
