The library is what we come for. It's genuinely beautiful inside, the children's section is big and well stocked, and there's far more media than you'd expect from a branch this size. We spend summer afternoons here.

Started by community volunteers in 1997, the trail winds past hand-tiled mosaic walls in the Character Garden and a Peace Obelisk memorial, then opens into Oso Viejo Park's pond with its fountain and footbridges. It's an easy, mostly flat stroll that turns a library trip into a small scavenger hunt of local public art.

I remained engaged throughout my visit. A lot has changed since 2021, (more activities and picturesque sightings of flowers and greeneries). It's a very nice area for morning, noon, or afternoon walks. I've seen some spots for picnics or family gatherings, a place for kids and kids at heart for exercise/playground. I will definitely return for a nice hike/biking/walk. Its not a flat hike all the way, so its not boring. The trail is very neat and well-maintained. :) I will take more pictures next time. There will be scheduled maintenance from April 6-9, so it will be inaccessible on those dates.

Such a lovely place to walk around while enjoying the scenery. You can take stairs to the lower level where the trails are, artwork, tile pathway, tunnel, bridges s as well as educational signs and wild animal postings. There’s plenty of trails on concrete or dirt so be aware that there are bike riders, electric as well who are not always kind to people walking. There’s plenty of greenery and flowers. There’s open fields for baseball and soccer on the upper level. There is also some workout equipment that was fun for everyone. There’s a playground, bathrooms and even a book drop off and exchange. We saw that there were workers in a truck with a sign reading for pest control. It was a nice visit.
