Beautiful experience! I took my husband here on a sunny Sunday afternoon to see the sights and we're greeted upon entry the homemade candles they sell are done artfully and smell delicious the rooftop has a small conference room that is available to rent for occasions and my fine folks check out the views!! Oh and its free entry

I walked into the Museum of Art and History expecting to see a few exhibits. Instead, I found myself wandering through stories. Every room felt like a conversation between the past and the present. One moment I was looking at a piece of art that sparked my imagination, and the next I was learning something about the history of the community that I never knew before. It was a reminder that history isn’t just a collection of dates—it’s made of real people, real lives, and real experiences. What I loved most was how approachable everything felt. The museum doesn’t try to overwhelm visitors. Instead, it invites you to slow down, explore, and make your own discoveries. I kept telling myself, “Just one more exhibit,” and somehow another hour passed. The staff was welcoming, the exhibits were thoughtfully curated, and the entire museum had a creative energy that made me want to keep exploring. It’s the kind of place that leaves you feeling a little more curious about the world than when you arrived. If you’re looking for a museum that combines art, history, and community in a meaningful way, the Museum of Art and History is absolutely worth a visit. I left inspired, educated, and already looking forward to returning.

Went to a kids art time at MOAH on the Boulevard. So fun! Never been before and so glad we went! The kid said it was more fun than Disney because he got to make something! Way cheaper for sure to the tune of Free dollars 😅❤️. A seriously hidden gem. Check out the website for their next event. The staff was so friendly and welcoming! Definitely will check out their other events 😀.

I am a recent Lancaster transplant. MOAH is a lovely cornerstone for expression in this becoming city. The receptionist with glasses and sand-nail polish was so welcoming, informative, and took the time for me to see if Cedar Hall down the street was open--the whole staff seemed like creative types who take pride in the establishment. FYI i visited the "m\other" exhibition and really enjoyed the branching aspects to it--race, sexuality and community all tied to a mothering base.

I visited multiple times but I couldn't go inside all the way because it was either having a event or it was adding more to the museam its a cool place but it doesnt really let you know if its actually open or not
