The church and grounds are free to enter; the museum charges admission and takes about half an hour to walk through. Reviewers linger in a quiet courtyard cafe. Staff are described as kind and unhurried. It is a calm, walk-around visit with nothing hands-on for small children.

After exploring the main mission church, you can enter the museum right through the gift shop for an adult admission fee of $8. This seems to be the standard setup for most California Old Missions, making it very easy to find. I’ve visited about 5 to 6 missions so far, but this was only my third time checking out the actual museum, and I am so glad I did. 🏛️📜 The museum does a wonderful job explaining the history and conditions of the early missionary era. It feels very much like an anthropology and history museum, packed with rich historical evidence and fascinating artifacts. Walking through the exhibits and seeing the deep historical roots also gave me a beautiful moment of reflection on how my own faith has evolved over time, which left me feeling incredibly proud and fulfilled. 🙏✨ It takes about 30 minutes to thoroughly look through everything, making it a perfect, quick addition to your visit. If you want to dive deeper into the rich history behind the mission, I highly recommend stopping by! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
