Lakes for pedal boats and fishing, a nature area, and a big splash-friendly playground — a versatile park for a full day out. The 607-acre park sits on land the Navy first used for WWII-era airfields before Orange County leased it in 1967 to build the regional park in phases through the 1970s. Tucked inside is a 20-acre native-plant nature area, a quieter counterpoint to the ballfields and golf courses that fill most of the site.

Absolutely gorgeous park in the day and night. We usually go during both day and night as it is very safe at both times. If you go at night alone and are doing a run i recommend bringing a flash light as some routes are not well illuminated but it is still possible to run without it. There is a pond filled with ducks geese and other aquatic birds. They have a nice gazebo that is like a little island you can view the whole pond. If you are looking for a place to do a run or walk this is the best spot as it is easy to get miles in and see beautiful scenery. Highly recommend it is one of my go to parks!

This park is well known in the community that has everything, from Boys & Grils Club, tennis courts, basketball inside & outside courts, golf course, outdoor amphitheater, picnic areas, soccer courts, baseball courts, and so forth. Plenty of parking lots and street parking. Nearby restaurants, markets, shops, hospital and freeway. They got it all in one place. Also they do have differ fairs throughout the years and lessons too.
