His original workshop still stands on the property as a working woodshop, surrounded by drought-tolerant native gardens.

    This place has some wonderfully knowledgeable and caring people looking after it. The gardens are wild and FREE with Art work all over. Trees are gorgeous and the Artwork that Sam and Alfreda Maloof preserved for us is amazing. Wonderful vibe, music and workshops! You can literally just pack a lunch and sit with nature's and art. Check it out.

    We did the Maloof Master Craftsman tour. It was very in depth, Dennis Hayes was our tour guide and did a wonderful job sharing his knowledge of woodworking as it pertains to Sam Maloof and his own personal experiences with Sam. If I’m in the area, I’ll visit again!
