The trailhead at 7531 Colima Rd has a restroom, parking, a drinking fountain and a short ADA-friendly path with educational kiosks. Dogs aren't allowed on the Arroyo San Miguel Trail and bikes aren't allowed on the Bob Henderson loop; call (562) 945-9003 after rain.

What a great place for a hike! I completed the 2-mile loop and really enjoyed the wide, well-maintained trails and beautiful scenery. The trail was easy to follow and made for a relaxing walk with plenty of opportunities to enjoy nature and the surrounding hills. One thing to be aware of is that I noticed quite a bit of poison oak along parts of the trail, so it's best to stay on the designated path. As long as you stick to the middle of the trail, you should be fine. Overall, this was a peaceful and enjoyable hike, and I look forward to coming back and exploring more of the area.
