A 9-hole short-game course with holes of 50–100 yards, a double-deck driving range and putting and chipping greens at 13717 Shoemaker Ave, plus a junior academy for ages 5–17. The short holes suit beginner kids, and the lights let you play after school.

Love this place, we keep coming back. You can book tee times, but most of the time during mornings (before 7am) or evenings (before 7pm) you can walk on. Greens are real nice, infact everything is nice! Love it!

I recently visited the driving range at Don Knabe Golf Center & Junior Academy for practice. I was surprised to find that a large bucket costs $16 for 95 balls. While many facilities offer 100 or more balls at a comparable price, I could overlook that if the overall experience justified the cost. Unfortunately, the greater concern is the condition of the range balls. The balls dispensed were consistently dirty and muddy. As a result, even if you start with clean clubs, you’ll need to clean them again after your session. More importantly, dirt and mud can affect ball flight. On the course, players routinely clean their ball before a shot to ensure consistent performance, so it’s disappointing to practice with range balls that are heavily soiled. The condition of the range surface appears to contribute to the issue, as much of the landing area is dirt and mud. Additionally, several of the hitting mats are worn down and in need of replacement. I will be including photos for evidence so others can evaluate the conditions for themselves. This is intended as constructive feedback for the management. The pricing suggests a premium experience, but the facility’s current condition does not reflect that. There is a clear opportunity to invest in improvements that would better serve your patrons. I hope to see positive changes in the near future. At this time, based on my experience, I would rate the facility one star.
